Confirmation Information

WELCOME!

Currently 9th grade is the normative year for Confirmation preparation.    If you would like to receive the Sacrament earlier contact the office and we will forward your request to Fr. William who will schedule a meeting with you to determine when and how that will proceed.
 

At St. Albert Church, Confirmation preparation begins when you feel prepared for the Sacrament, and have received proper instruction in the Faith.

Preparation for the sacrament occurs through regular Mass attendance, faith formation, preparatory meetings, and a Confirmation interview.

Students attending Catholic schools (including 8th grade Sacred Hearts, 9th grade Edgewood and St. Ambrose) receive sufficient catechetical preparation through their religion classes and are not required to take Religious Education Confirmation classes.

All other Confirmation candidates ARE required to receive Confirmation Preparation through the Religious Education program.
