Traveling Chalice

We are excited to launch the Traveling Chalice program at St. Albert the Great!  

The purpose of The Traveling Chalice is to encourage families and/or individuals to pray for vocations to the Priesthood and Religious Life, especially for those whom God might be calling from our Parish family right here at St. Albert the Great.  Praying for vocations is the most powerful way to support vocations.  A vocation is a call from the Holy Spirit, a gift from God that is nurtured in prayer, to live a religious life.  Parishioners are encouraged to host the Traveling Chalice for one week in their home (Saturday/Sunday thru Friday), and are asked to pray for vocations daily.  If/when a member of our parish accepts God’s call to a vocation, the Traveling Chalice will be gifted to them as they begin their mission.  This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of growing God’s Kingdom!
